Public banners
The Public tab is a gallery of FACEIT overlays that players share from the studio. Each card has a preview, a title, a description, the author and up or down votes. Only banners an admin has checked reach the public list.
What public banners are
It is a catalogue of looks, not a new widget. The banner still shows your FACEIT data in OBS. On the public list you see how others built a layout: solo, VERSUS, roster, split or popup, with a title and a short description.
- a preview at the recommended OBS size, so the layout is visible at a glance
- who added the banner and when
- sorting: Top (votes) or New
- Your submissions with a status: pending, published or declined
How to publish a banner
- Log in to the generator with a FACEIT account.
- In the My banners tab save the layout you want to share.
- Click "Generate OBS link" if you need the address for the scene.
- Click "Publish", enter a title and a short description of the layout, then send it for review.
An admin checks the title, the description and the look. Until then the banner stays on Your submissions with the pending status and is not public.
Votes like on Reddit
A logged-in player casts one up or down vote and can change it. Top sorts the list by the vote score, New shows the latest approved banners.
Submission statuses
- Pending — waiting for an admin, visible only to you.
- Published — it is on the public list and can be voted on.
- Declined — it does not enter the gallery; you can fix the layout and send a new one.
You can withdraw a pending or published submission from Your submissions.
A public banner and OBS
The gallery is for browsing and rating community overlays. For the stream you still use your own generator link or the "Generate OBS link" button on a saved banner. A public entry does not replace the FACEIT nickname on the stream.
